Causes

Back complaints without a direct cause are called non-specific back complaints. In most instances people suffer from these complaints for a long time and find it difficult to find a lasting solution. Physiotherapist Rob Krullaards indeed observed that his patients who suffered from such complaints, kept returning to his practice without achieving long lasting structural results. This caused him to research and develop a specific therapy that deals effectively with the root cause of most complaints; a misalignment of the pelvis in relation to the spine.

Pelvic obliquity

A misalignment of the pelvis in relation to the spine can cause frictions between the various vertebrae, which can cause the nerves to be compressed and compromised. This can lead to back,- and neck complaints. The KPR therapy focuses on dealing with the root cause of the complaint by repositioning the pelvis and normalizing the position of the spine.
